Worcestershire Law Society Festive Quiz 2021 – and the winners are… Greens Solicitors Ltd!
On a somewhat cold and damp Wednesday evening the Worcester office at Greens trooped across the road to Bolero’s for the Worcestershire Law Society Festive drinks and quiz. After the restrictions of lockdown, it was nice to be out and about and to be able to mingle with a few of the other Worcestershire lawyers. Our team consisted of David Wilkins and Jemma Hughes from the Worcester office who were joined by William Ham and Donna Savery who made the long trip out from Birmingham. Being the humble souls we are, I would like to say that it was a close contest, but our combined knowledge shone through, and we turned out to be easy winners over the other six teams that had entered. The whole team contributed and who can forget Jemma’s absolute, and correct, insistence that beating a carpet after 8:00am in the streets of London was illegal during the 19th century! The only shame is that William and David chose to overrule her!!
An enjoyable evening was had by all, and thanks is extended to Charlotte Perry and Worcestershire Law Society who put on this event at what are still difficult times. There was a fantastic buffet and a complimentary drink which all contributed to the fun of the evening.
Hopefully we will be back next year to defend our “Title” although we may need to consider bringing in a younger team to help with the legal questions that the older members of this year’s team clearly struggled with!
