The Easter Bunny!
It’s nearly time for the Easter Bunny to come around; but where did the Easter Bunny originate from?
And how is he linked to a man whom 2000 years ago died on the cross then arose 4 days later (minus
the crucifixion), something similar to what I do plan on doing which is going to bed on the Friday and
not rising until the Monday!
The Easter Bunny originated from German Lutherans, and was originally called the “Easter Hare”.
The Easter Hare would judge whether children were naughty or nice and would carry coloured eggs
and give them to children who were judged to be good.
Whereas there is no direct link between Christianity and the Easter bunny, the Easter bunny was used
as a symbol during Easter celebrations to encourage the spread of Christianity throughout Europe.
