How do I arrange contact with my children over the festive period?

If you have not been able to reach an agreement with your ex-partner over what contact you will be having with your children over the Christmas and New Year you may feel uneasy at the thought of the weeks ahead. If there are no Court Orders in place as to any contact arrangements, unfortunately there […]

"We are often instructed at very short notice to apply to the Court for emergency orders protecting people who have suffered or are at risk of suffering violence from the hands of their partner."

It is a sad fact of life that domestic abuse often features in relationships, with as many as 2 million adults experiencing some form of abuse within a 12 month period.

The Family Court is able to make orders dealing with domestic violence within relationships, often on an emergency basis to protect potential victims from harm at the hands of their former partner.
These orders (called non molestation orders or injunctions) will prevent an abusive partner from using or threatening violence, and in some circumstances can ensure that the alleged abuser does not come within a certain radius of the family home.

We have a specialist domestic violence team of qualified solicitors Birmingham who are highly experienced at applying to the Court for such orders, usually at very short notice. Legal Aid is often available to help fund these applications.

I wish to thank, all of Greens Staff for their unending support, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone, and should I ever require legal advice in future they shall be my first choice.
Emma, Birmingham

Breaching a non molestation order is now an arrestable offence with the police so the consequences of any further domestic abuse can be very serious. It is very important to have legal advice when served with a non molestation order. We have acted for people who have found themselves the subject of non molestation orders who have found it harder to gain employment, and who have struggled in establishing contact with their children.

We can offer a fixed price to represent them at the initial hearing the Court lists (location depending), and very competitive rates for any subsequent hearings. Either way you should contact us today if you require assistance.
