Sophie Machin

Solicitor, Birmingham

I gained my degree at Aston University with a 2:1 in Law with Management, before qualifying as a Solicitor in September 2022. I have worked in family law for over 5 years and I have a depth of knowledge in divorce, finances, children matters, cohabitation issues, separation matters and injunctions such as non-molestation and occupation orders.

In my spare time, I like to spend time with my friends and family. I also have a spirit for travelling and I have visited 5 of the 7 wonders of the world! I enjoy volunteering and I previously volunteered for Cats Protection and the Commonwealth Games.

"I explain the law in simple terms without complicating the process so that it is easy to understand and follow. I also advise what the next steps are to progress a client’s matter so that they know what to expect, and I will always manage a client’s expectations based on their circumstances."
