We sat down with our receptionist, Kaj (who also won Employee of the Year last year!) to get to know her and get a bit of an insight of what it’s like to work for Greens.

How did you come to work at Greens?

“I’m the longest running member of staff… I started off working for Greens when they first started… Everybody says I’m a part of the furniture!”

What is the atmosphere like working at Greens?

“We’re one big happy family! We definitely all work as a team… it’s busy and hectic but always manageable.”

How do Greens differ in their approach to clients? What do you do to greet them?

“I always give a friendly approach… you’ve got to treat all clients the same… I’m not afraid to go above and beyond”

What’s the best part about working at Greens?

“I love that I’m always meeting new people… you see somebody new everyday!”

What’s one thing about lawyers that nobody will ever tell you?

“Believe it or not… but they’re actually not as boring as you might think… They’re all pretty laid back and human.”

What’s the most stressful part of your job?

“This interview! And being employee of the year- that’s not happening again!”

If you could have an endless supply of any food, what would you get?

“Definitely chocolate.. I’ve got such a sweet tooth and so does Mandy… we both fly across the room when anybody has some!”

If you could swap places with one person within Greens for a day who would you choose?

“I wouldn’t really want to swap with anybody… they all stress too much! If I had to thought I’d go with Khizar because he deals with crime and I like crime.”

What 3 words do you think your colleagues would use to describe you? And what words would you use to describe your colleagues?

“For myself I’d probably go cheerful, helpful and unique (aka crazy!)… As for everybody else we’re all team players and always look out for each other!”

What’s one sentence you’d like to hear from your boss?

“Well done Kaj.”

I hope you enjoyed that sit down with Kaj and that you can see why she won Employee of the Year! Kaj is always so entertaining, has a great sense of humour and always puts a smile on everybody’s face. If you’ve visited our office I’m sure you would have been greeted by Kaj and if you’re looking to visit us you can always look forward to being welcomed a friendly and accommodating personality.
