Halloween is upon us again, as is the annual Greens Solicitors pumpkin carving competition with this year’s entries being nothing short of spooktacular, coupled with
the residual aggrieved rumblings of those who felt robbed from last year’s competition winner being painted and not carved, but who is really keeping track…

The staff at our Birmingham and Worcester offices each carved out some time from their busy diaries to prepare their entries.

The kitchen was decked out with cobwebs, spiders, fairy lights, and the unmistakable scent of pumpkin!

Each team received a pumpkin and carving tools to bring their visions to life. As always, creativity and individuality was in abundance despite several teams having
to overcome the adversities of carving mishaps and early signs of rot.

After much deliberation, the Judges named Georgina, Anaa, Olivia and Suzan’s ‘Murder House’ pumpkin the winner with an honourable mention going to Emma, Faizan, Sophie Godfrey and Simran for their ‘Evil Eye’.

Beyond the competition, it was a chance for the staff to bond, laugh, and bring out their creative and competitive sides.

Whilst being competitive, the staff encouraged each other, shared carving tips, and hid their finished pieces from prying eyes. The event reminded us that sometimes, the best team-building happens when you’re elbow-deep in pumpkin guts.
