Menopause Training and Why It Matters.

Menopause is a natural biological transition marking the end of a woman’s reproductive
years and represents a significant milestone in their lives. Yet despite it affecting half of the
population it is shrouded in misconceptions, discomfort and inadequate understanding.
Today, Greens Solicitors, held training for all its staff to shine a light on menopause and how
it can impact on those in our workplace.
Menopause often remains a taboo subject, surrounded by stigma and misinformation. Most
women feel unprepared for the physical and emotional changes they may experience at this
time. Many of the healthcare workers they consult lack the necessary knowledge and
training to support women through menopause.

Why Greens See The Importance of Menopause Training:

  •  We hope it empowers our employees by providing them with accurate information
about the physical and emotional changes they may experience during this phase in
their life. By understanding the transition, it enables women to make informed
    decisions about their health.
  • Menopause training encourages open discussions and takes away the stigma
surrounding menopause. By creating a supportive and non-judgmental environment,
we hope our employees will seek help and support for their symptoms or at least
recognise them if they experience them. By fostering open communication and
understanding Greens Solicitors can create a more inclusive and supportive work
space for women going through menopause.

Menopause is a natural and inevitable phase of a women’s life, and impacts not only
their personal life but also extends into the workplace. We believe, by way of training,
that we can create a supportive environment where women feel understood, valued and
can navigate this transition with confidence.
