MacMillan Cancer Support - Coffee Morning

Yesterday, Greens again, had the pleasure of hosting our Macmillan Coffee Morning.

The preparations were fun! Many of us spent the week baking cakes and cupcakes (with varying levels of success!). By the time the morning arrived, the table was filled with an impressive spread: luxurious cupcakes and cakes of all varieties and various dietary requirements.

As people arrived, it was heartwarming to see everyone come together, colleagues all comparing their efforts, share stories, enjoy the delicious goodies, and, most importantly, support a cause that affects so many people.

Huge thanks go to our judges Phil Jones and Isabelle Lee from 3PB Chambers and Nicola Graham, you played your parts fantastically, managing to sample each and every one of the cakes on show!

The best part? The generosity was overwhelming. Everyone gave what they could, even surrounding businesses contributed. Every penny donated will go directly to Macmillan Cancer Support, helping to provide crucial care for those living with cancer.

Hosting this coffee morning wasn’t just about raising funds; it was about bringing people together, sharing moments of hope, and doing something positive in the face of such a tough disease. We are already looking forward to next year’s event, and we encourage anyone to give it a go, you’ll be surprised at how something so simple can make such a big difference.
