As we approach Remembrance Day on the 11 November, it is important to remember the reasons behind the Poppy and who we are remembering.
Julie Maguire, Chief Executive of Greens Solicitors, explains why this day is so important and what it means to her personally:
“Remembrance Day always holds a special place in my heart being married to an ex-serviceman. I cannot praise our current and ex-servicemen and woman enough in this volatile world which we now live in.
Let’s not forget 100 years ago the First World War ended, and a new world began. Thank You to all who served, sacrificed and changed our world over the last 100 years”.
