BREW MONDAY – 20.01.2025

Brew Monday occurs on the third Monday in January every year with this year’s falling on 20 th January. It is a time to have a chat with a colleague, relative or an old friend and vent over a Brew.

What is Brew Monday?

The Brew Monday campaign was created in 2020 by the well-known charity ‘Samaritans’ to give groups of friends, colleagues or relatives a reason to stay in touch and share their troubles.

Office ideas for Hosting a Brew Monday

You can host your own Brew Monday in the office. This can be a virtual meeting or an in-person meeting. Encourage your colleagues to bring in homemade sweet
treats to enjoy with their Brew. Proceeds can be donated to Samaritans to support them in providing services to those in need.

Why Brew Monday?

January can be one of the toughest months of the year for many people. The adrenaline built up over Christmas and the New Year has fizzled out, and normality has well and truly kicked back in. Even if it is a 5-10 minute chat with a friend/colleague, this will give them the opportunity to open up and talk about anything that may be on their mind.
