Angela Ross

Senior Associate Solicitor, Birmingham

Green’s Solicitors shares my belief of the importance of working within a team and sharing the workload in order to gain the best result possible.

I strive to support my clients through difficulties such as cases against the state, and care proceedings, which can often be intimidating. I aim to remove and alleviate some of the difficulties my clients face throughout the process by ensuring they feel comfortable and listened to.

I work hard to ensure this is always the case and I am always willing to listen, offering support at every level.

When I’m not working, I enjoy music, reading and participating in sport such as football and Zumba.

FAQs From Angela Ross

How do I get the best from my lawyer?

Honesty is a good starting place. A willingness to listen to advice also. My role is to give advice based on my legal knowledge and years of experience so that you make informed decisions.

How much will it cost?

This depends on the type of case. I mostly represent parents in care proceedings where legal aid is available regardless of financial circumstances.

What should I expect?

I will give you my time. I will listen and be empathetic. I will make and take time to explain, guide through and ‘demystify’ care proceedings which can at times be frightening and intimidating for parents.

How long will it take?

Care proceedings by law should be concluded within 6 months from issue. However care proceedings can take as long as is necessary in order to achieve the best result for the relevant child.

Will you keep me informed on progress made and if so how?

Yes, we can agree at the beginning of your case what works best for you in terms of communication. Usually by letter, email or telephone. Communication at all times between solicitor and client is essential to achieve the best results.

Can you guarantee I will be successful in my case?

No but I can guarantee every effort will be made to achieve the very best outcome.
