I have been practicing law for 26 years and when I was given the opportunity to run my own practice I jumped at the chance. It has been the hardest I have ever worked but the most fulfilling.

My passion for people is at the heart of everything I do, I thrive in making a difference to peoples lives. I am a no nonsense lady of principle and common sense.

I inspire my team to be equally as passionate as me in the roles in which they fulfil within the practice.

Out of work, I sit as a Magistrate, I enjoy gardening, going to the gym and walking my beloved dog Finlay.

FAQs From Julie Maguire

What makes a business successful?

It has to be your staff who make your business successful. Professionalism, knowledge, commitment and most importantly loyalty.

How do you get the best out of your staff?

I always treat my staff how I would expect to be treated by my boss. It is difficult to find a balance when you employ so many different personalities and I have found this to be the hardest part of my job. I am described by my staff as being “firm but fair”.

What has been your greatest achievement?

My greatest achievement has been making Greens Solicitors Limited what it is today. Creating a firm from nothing at the height of a recession in 2008 and now being able to employ 28 people and offer an excellent professional service to clients really makes me happy.

What are your ambitions for Greens Solicitors Ltd for the future?

My ambition is not necessarily to become the biggest Solicitors in Birmingham but the best at what we do and to continue to provide an excellent service.
